Chris Bio (150 words)

Dr. Chris Wagner has spent his life exploring two extraordinary mysteries: how intelligence works and what allows human beings to experience deeper love, greater awareness, and lasting transformation. His path has carried him through engineering, artificial intelligence, psychology, relationships, and spirituality—not as separate disciplines, but as different windows into the same human experience.

Rather than presenting himself as someone with all the answers, Chris sees himself as a fellow traveler who has been fortunate to encounter remarkable teachers, profound life experiences, and moments of unexpected insight. His greatest joy is creating spaces where others discover their own wisdom rather than adopting someone else’s.

As one of the founding voices of Chorus of Channels, Chris joins Robin Bradley and Valerie Bartol in exploring life’s deepest questions with curiosity, compassion, humility, and wonder. Together they believe that wisdom grows richer when many authentic voices are heard together.

Chris Wagner Bio (300 words)

For more than fifty years, Dr. Chris Wagner has explored what it means to be human.

His professional life led him through engineering, computer science, educational psychology, and artificial intelligence, eventually becoming a university professor, researcher, and consultant helping organizations solve complex problems through technology. Yet alongside this scientific work ran another lifelong inquiry: understanding consciousness, love, purpose, and the remarkable ways human beings grow throughout their lives.

Over time Chris came to see that these two paths were never separate. Intelligence is not merely computation. Love is not merely emotion. Human flourishing emerges from the relationship between mind, body, heart, spirit, and our connection with one another.

His own life has included seasons of joy and heartbreak, professional accomplishment and personal transformation, deep study and profound moments of awakening. Those experiences gradually reshaped his understanding of wisdom. Rather than believing wisdom belongs to a few extraordinary people, Chris has come to believe it lives quietly within every person, waiting to be recognized, trusted, and expressed.

This conviction inspired his books, including Love Lightning, and ultimately helped give birth to Chorus of Channels.

Rather than creating another place where one teacher speaks and everyone else listens, Chorus of Channels was created as a gathering place where authentic voices can be heard together. Chris believes every life offers a unique perspective, every sincere seeker has something to contribute, and every genuine act of love expands what becomes possible for all of us.

Together with Robin Bradley and Valerie Bartol, he hopes to cultivate conversations that invite reflection instead of certainty, curiosity instead of judgment, and shared discovery instead of hierarchy. Their work is not about leading others toward someone else’s truth. It is about helping each person recognize and trust the deeper wisdom already flowing through their own life.

Chris Wagner Bio (600 words)

Dr. Chris Wagner has spent a lifetime asking questions that bridge science and spirit.

As an engineer, educator, and pioneer in artificial intelligence, he devoted decades to understanding how intelligence is organized, how people learn, and how complex systems evolve. His academic work led to advanced degrees in engineering, computer science, statistics, educational psychology, and artificial intelligence, followed by years of teaching, research, and consulting across industry and higher education.

Yet throughout those years another question quietly remained in the background.

What allows a human being to experience genuine peace, authentic love, and lasting fulfillment?

That question eventually became the center of his life’s work.

Chris’s search has included psychology, neuroscience, contemplative traditions, relationships, and the many lessons that arise from simply living a human life. Like everyone, his path has included success and disappointment, certainty and confusion, loss and renewal. Rather than seeing these experiences as interruptions, he came to recognize them as essential teachers.

Gradually he discovered that wisdom is rarely something we acquire from another person. Instead, the deepest insights emerge when life itself awakens something already present within us.

This understanding transformed the way he writes, teaches, and serves.

Instead of offering answers to memorize, Chris hopes to ask questions worth living. Instead of encouraging dependence on teachers, he hopes to encourage trust in each person’s own unfolding awareness. Instead of presenting fixed conclusions, he invites ongoing exploration.

His books—including Love Lightning—reflect this philosophy by encouraging readers to move beyond intellectual understanding into lived experience. Knowledge matters, but embodied wisdom changes lives.

This same spirit inspired the creation of Chorus of Channels.

The name reflects a simple conviction: wisdom has never belonged to one tradition, one profession, one culture, or one individual. Throughout history it has emerged through countless people willing to listen deeply and share honestly. Each person becomes a channel through which compassion, creativity, healing, and understanding enter the world.

Within Chorus of Channels, Chris stands alongside Robin Bradley and Valerie Bartol not as “the expert,” but as one voice among several—each bringing different life experiences, different gifts, and different ways of seeing. Together they hope to model respectful dialogue, shared inquiry, and the belief that truth becomes richer when explored in community.

Chris believes that love expands through relationship, wisdom grows through conversation, and transformation occurs when people feel safe enough to become fully themselves. Whether speaking, writing, listening, or simply sharing silence, his hope is always the same: that every person leaves feeling more connected to themselves, to others, and to the deeper source of life flowing through us all.

INITIAL ATTEMPT – 5 paragraphs

Dr. Chris Wagner is an author, educator, artificial intelligence pioneer, and lifelong student of human consciousness. For more than five decades he has explored two questions that rarely appear together: How does intelligence work? and What allows human beings to experience profound love, purpose, and transformation? His work brings these two worlds together, blending rigorous scientific thinking with a deeply personal exploration of the human spirit.

Chris earned degrees in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Educational Psychology, and Artificial Intelligence, and served for many years as Professor of Engineering and Computer Science at Oakland University. Throughout his career he helped develop hundreds of software systems while consulting with organizations including Ford, General Motors, Chrysler, the U.S. Air Force, and the U.S. Army Tank Command. Yet even while pursuing technology, his deeper interest remained understanding the nature of consciousness and what enables people to flourish.

His personal journey has included profound spiritual experiences, the challenges of an abusive childhood, years of therapy and self-discovery following divorce, and decades of studying psychology, neuroscience, relationships, and contemplative traditions. Rather than viewing these experiences as separate from his scientific work, Chris believes they illuminate one another. They have shaped a philosophy centered on healing, awakening, and the extraordinary capacity every person possesses to embody love more fully.

Chris is the creator of the Love Lightning framework and a growing body of work devoted to helping people move beyond fear, self-judgment, and emotional conditioning toward lives marked by greater peace, joy, compassion, and authentic connection. His writing encourages readers to experience transformation directly—not merely to understand ideas intellectually, but to embody them in everyday relationships and in service to others.

Through Chorus of Channels, Chris joins with Robin Bradley and Valerie Bartol in creating conversations, teachings, and experiences that invite people to discover the wisdom already present within themselves. Together they seek to cultivate a community where diverse voices, life experiences, and spiritual perspectives become channels for greater understanding, deeper love, and collective awakening.

One suggestion

After reading your manuscript, I would actually make Robin, Valerie, and Chris all read as three equal founders, not one primary person and two supporting people. The biographies should feel like three different journeys that converge at Chorus of Channels. That reinforces the site’s name—a chorus of unique voices rather than a single teacher with assistants—which I think is a much stronger message and fits the spirit of the material you’ve written.

Chorus of Channels is not about three experts. It is about three explorers.

People aren’t coming because one person has “the answers.” They are coming because three people, with very different life journeys, have each become channels through which wisdom, insight, compassion, and experience flow. The website should communicate shared humility, shared reverence, and shared discovery. That is much more consistent with the name Chorus of Channels and with the opening chapters of Love Lightning, where you repeatedly emphasize that truth is something to be embodied and experienced rather than simply taught.

I would even avoid language like “expert,” “authority,” “guru,” or “teacher” as the dominant identity. Instead, emphasize stewardship, curiosity, service, and lifelong learning.
